1. Who we are

Norevostudio (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates the website norevostudio.com and the LessonPilot Chrome extension. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we handle it.

2. What data we collect

We collect only what is needed to run LessonPilot:

• Account data: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and Google account identifier so we can create and manage your account.
• Selected text (temporary): When you select text and generate questions, only that selected text — not the full page — is sent to our AI provider to generate questions. It is not stored after your session ends.
• Usage data:Generation counts, plan status, and quota usage, so we can enforce your plan's limits.
• Billing data: If you subscribe, Stripe processes your payment. We receive billing metadata (such as subscription status) but never your full card number.
• Google Docs/Classroom metadata: If you use the Google Docs or Classroom export features, we access the minimum Google data required to create the document or assignment on your behalf.
• Extension settings:Preferences such as question count and language are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's built-in storage.
• Basic technical logs: Used for reliability, security, and abuse prevention.
• Website analytics: norevostudio.com may collect anonymised usage data (page views, general location) via standard analytics tools.

3. What we do NOT collect

• We do not track your general browsing history
• We do not read or store the content of pages you have not explicitly selected text on
• We do not collect student data of any kind
• We do not sell data to third parties

4. Google Classroom integration

If you use the Google Classroom export feature, LessonPilot requests permission to access your Google Classroom on your behalf. We use this permission solely to create the worksheet assignment in your selected class. We do not read, store, or use any other Google data. You can revoke this permission at any time via your Google account settings.

5. Third-party services

We rely on a small number of third-party service providers to operate LessonPilot, and only share the data each of them needs to perform their function:

• OpenAI — generates questions from the text you select.
• Google — Sign-In, Google Docs, and Google Classroom integrations.
• Stripe — processes subscription payments.
• Vercel — hosts our website and backend services.
• Redis — stores short-lived quota counters (e.g. generations remaining).

All data sent to these providers is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS).

6. Data security

All data transmitted by LessonPilot is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, though no system is 100% secure.

7. Children's privacy

LessonPilot is designed for use by teachers, not students. We do not knowingly collect any data from children under 13. The extension does not need to be installed by students.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any significant changes will be noted with an updated “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
